PRH handles all issues related to housing companies from 1 September 2015

The PRH has taken over housing company tasks from the local register offices ('maistraatti'). Up until now, both start-up notifications and notifications of changes from housing companies have mostly been processed by the local register office in the municipality where the housing company has its registered office, while we have dealt with reductions of share capital and other special cases.

If you have filed an application or a notification with a local register office, and it has not been processed by the end of August, it has automatically been transferred to the PRH for processing.

You can contact us in the following manners in issues related to housing companies:

  • Change the contact details or details about responsible persons in your housing company online using the BIS service (available only in Finnish and in Swedish), or buy an electronic Trade Register extract in our Virre service.
  • Post your notifications to the Trade Register at: PRH-Tax Administration, Business Information System, P.O. Box 2000, FI-00231 Helsinki.
